Francesca and Ryan (my tonic for Blue Monday)

It's "Blue Monday" today and I suppose that means that we're in the throws of the deepest darkest, post-holiday days of Winter. It seemed fitting to blog a wedding that I've been wanting to share for a long time and it couldn't be more Summer! Something to remind us that it's getting brighter and the now frozen buds will bloom. It won't be long.

When I met designers Francesca and Ryan, it was clear that they wanted every detail of their day to reflect them. They designed, sewed, painted and planned every last detail themselves and documenting all of this was one of their main wishes.

They found me and knew that I would be as passionate about it as them. It was true! Here are just a few...

There are a couple of things that I always tell my clients who are planning their wedding.... One of them is, hire a planner !

In the wide world of  weddings, there is a sea of vendors out there and it can be daunting choosing the right people to work with.  A great planner will bring you together with the right wedding professionals who will perfectly match your style and sensibilities.  A strong team of vendors will work together seamlessly to create a day that is better and more beautiful than you ever imagined.

For Matt and Michelle's wedding, planner and event designer Cynthia Martyn created a decadent pink-themed candy bar with monogrammed cupcakes and bags for sweets, all sporting the couple's personal emblem.

I was thrilled to work with some of my favorite wedding pros , who always do such a fantastic job. Stemz did the flowers & decor, Faces by Carla   did the makeup.

Here is just a taste!
